They are generally defined vintage objects which, although of ancient productions, retain functionality / features / charm / quality and sometimes superior aesthetics to contemporary objects in some way comparable to them.
Sometimes museum objects (even that no longer work, but only historical evidence) are considered vintage. In these cases they are also used other attributes such as rarity, masterpieces, art pieces etc.
